David Trubridge Ltd produces lighting and furniture collections with an environmental conscience.

They are sold all over the world, and recognised in major collections such as the Centre Pompidou Paris. Most stock products are sold as bamboo plywood kitsets to minimise their environmental impact. The company also works with large-scale projects to create innovative and beautiful installations.

David designs with a lifetime of inspired moments and observations behind him. As a young man he and his family set sail from Europe on their yacht Hornpipe, travelling across two oceans to arrive eventually in New Zealand. Stopping to work on the way, he was deeply inspired by the Polynesian seafaring culture. Travel to wild places continues to be important — his camera and sketchbook are constant companions, always ready to jot down ideas whilst pondering Nature's structures and patterns.
